ABOUT THE artist

J. Christopher Schmidt has over 25 years of experience as a graphic designer and illustrator. He has been a freelance artist since 2008. In 2000 he graduated from The Columbus College of Art and Design with a BA in illustration. He has never had a cavity, loves Subarus, collects comic books, Hot Wheels and Lego "Speed Champions" sets. Currently he resides in a suburb of Cleveland, OH with his wife (Jenna), two daughters (Delaney and Felicia) and their goldendoodle (Milo).

He is available upon request for illustration work (children's books, poster art, cover art, etc), comic book art (covers and sequential), character design, toy design, product design (t-shirts, logo), drawing (portraiture, pen & ink) and more. See pricing below under commissions and art services.
